Farm to Fork Festival – Wednesday September 16th – 4:00 to 7:00 pm
New Haven Parks and Recreation, along with Mayor Terry McDonald, and the New Haven Chamber of Commerce are sponsoring the New Haven Home Grown Farm to Fork Festival on Wednesday, September 16, 2015.
The festival is in conjunction with the weekly New Haven Farmers Market which runs from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in Schnelker Park, 956 Park Avenue, New Haven, IN.
This new event is a celebration of local producers, growers, farmers, and entrepreneurs of food products. Local chefs from Rack and Helens, Winner’s Circle Bewpub, and Celebrity Chef, Mayor McDonald, will “shop” at the Farmers Market vendor booths and cook dishes from the available fresh ingredients. Parkview Health and Orchid Events will also be providing food and drink samples.
Sampling of the chef’s dishes will be available from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm with the purchase of a wristband for a small fee of $2.00 for adults and $1.00 for children 8 and under.
