On the rainy morning of Saturday, September 19th, Wayne Trace hosted a volleyball tri-match against Lima Perry and Miller City. This group of players is one of the best teams the Raiders have had in a while.
The first set against Lima Perry finished in an extended game with the Raiders on top 28-26. The next set was an easy win for the Lady Raiders 25-16, winning the game.
The lead players were Stacy Flint – 6 digs, 1 block, 2 aces, 8-10 hitting, 2 kills; Carissa Laukhuf – 12 assists; Madison Zartman – 6-6 serve reception; Leah Maasel – 2 blocks, 7-8 hitting, 2 kills; Danae Myers – 5 blocks, 8 kills, 19-21 hitting; Erin Mohr – 4 digs, 2 blocks, 11-12 serving, 2 aces, 21-22 hitting, 9 kills;
The next game was between Miller City and the Lady Raiders, taking the win 25-10, 25-15—and making it look quite easy, I might add.
The leading players for the Raiders were Carissa Laukhuf – 9-10 serving, 16 assists; Sadie Sinn – 6 digs; Leah Maasel – 5-6 hitting
Danae Myers – 12-13 hitting, 6 kills; Sydney Critten – 12-14 serving, 3 aces; Erin Mohr – 10-11 serving, 4 aces, 21-25 hitting, 7 kills; Stacy Flint – 2 digs, 5-6 serving, 8-9 hitting, 2 kills.
