The Warriors went to Noble County to take on Central Noble for the first game of the tournament. Woodlan just came off an undefeated regular season with the win against the previously undefeated Adams Central Jets.
The game made Woodlan look unstoppable as the Cougars only scored 7 points to the Warriors 42.
For the undefeated team, there were 6 points scored after the touchdowns by Quentin Graber—missing none. There were 2 touchdowns by Trevon McCarter (14 total). 3 Touchdowns by Mitchell Van Brocklin (22 for the season), and 1 Touchdown by Alec-Evans.
Both teams had possession of the ball for nearly the same amount of time. Woodlan just made their time worth it.
The next game is against Eastside, after defeating Bluffton 40-0, at Woodlan for the second game of the tournament. Woodlan is now 9-0.
