Your help is needed for community safety.
Today approximately 6:30 p.m., information was received that a Paulding County Jail inmate, J. Tucker Harman, age 26, walked away from 222 E. Hamilton St. Bryan, Ohio, while on a medical furlough. The furlough was issued by the Paulding County Common Pleas Court. Harman was being housed in the Putnam County Jail. There is currently an active Warrant for the arrest of Harman for Escape, a Felony of the Third Degree.
Harman has been incarcerated since October 6, 2015 after he was indicted for one count of Having Weapons under Disability, a Felony of the Third Degree.
“J. Tucker Harman is being considered a risk to himself and the community. He left a note stating he would rather die a free man than go back to jail,” said Sheriff Landers. “We need the public’s help locating Harman. If you see him or a man fitting his description, contact your local law enforcement. Harman is obviously in an unpredictable state of mind,” said Sheriff Landers.
Harman is approximately 5’10”, 274 pounds, reddish-brown hair and hazel eyes. He has several tattoos all over his body, including a cross on the left side of his neck and a faded tear drop under his right eye.
