Working with Samaritan’s Purse International Relief, students at Central Lutheran School participated once again in Operation Christmas Child. Rather than exchanging Christmas gifts in their classrooms, students and their families collect items that will be packaged in shoeboxes and shipped all over the world to those in need. Items include hygiene items, small toys, school supplies, socks, and a storybook about Jesus. This year Central families filled 444 shoeboxes! Following Jesus’ example, students at Central Lutheran School are helping those in need and sharing the hope of the Gospel.
