Senior Avery Braaten scores a 3 point basket against North Central.
The Lady Archers hosted the North Central Eagles on Tuesday, December 8. The Archers basketball team had been struggling a little this season, but they came out very well in this matchup. Rachel Williamson led the home team along with Peyton Short and Kiana Recker.
Rachel scored 9 points in the first quarter alone. Kiana nailed 6 in the second quarter while Peyton added 6 in both.
The lady Eagles performed well the first quarter, but when the Archers kept on the war path, North Central fell by the wayside when they only scored 5 points.
The second half continued to go in the Archers’ favor when they outpaced them by an additional five points. The final score was 56-38 after Sierra Cline fouled out. Three pointers were scored by Rachel Williamson and Audrie Longardner.
