Haviland, OH
Ray Albert Sinn 83 passed away on January 29, 2016 at the Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center.
He was born on October 19 1932 to the late George and Clara (Zeltwanger)
Sinn. On October 18 1959 he was joined in marriage to Ann Haab in Milford,IN who
survives. Born to this union were 3 daughters and 6 sons. Suzanne (Earl) Beery, Gary (Paulette), Phil, Jane (Jim) Linder, Mark (Diane), Steven (Joy), Duane (Carrie), Karen and Kurt (Lisa). Also surviving are 36 grandchildren, 9 great- grandchildren, a sister Minnie (Nelson) Beer, and sister-in-law, Renee Sinn.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers Carl and Walter, and sister-in-law, Bertha Sinn.
He graduated from Haviland-Scott High School in 1950. He served in the US
Army and then returned home and started a life long career in agriculture. On January 31st 1954 he was baptized and became a member of the Latty Apostolic Christian Church. He served his church in the capacity of a minister and elder until his
retirement in 2003. Ray had a great love for The Lord, family, church, country and farming. He will be sadly missed by his family.
Visitation will be Sunday, January 31, 2016 from 12 Noon until 8 PM at the Latty Apostolic Christian Church Fellowship Hall, Paulding County. There will also be visitation at the church from 1:30 until service time on Monday.
Funeral will be 2:30 PM Monday, February 1 at Latty Apostolic Christian Church with burial in the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations to the Harvest Call-World Relief or
Van Wert Inpatient Hospice.
