Thomas “Jane” Rash age 75 of Antwerp, Ohio, passed away on February 12, 2016 at her home in Antwerp, Ohio surrounded by family and friends.
Jane was born on March 7, 1940 in Fruitvale, Texas to the late Guadalupe and Petra Flores.
Jane was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses having dedicated her life to service on March 18, 1972. Many will remember Jane from her joking and as the pizza shop lady from the Red Angel Pizza in Antwerp, but her best roles in life were that of her service to Jehovah, wife, mother and grandmother.
Jane was preceded in death by her husband, Estill “Jr.” Rash who she married on April 1, 1961.
Jane will be sadly missed by her daughter JoAnn (Denny) Coughlin of Antwerp, her grandchildren Larry Gross of Columbus, Alex Gross of Ft. Wayne, Eathon Coughlin of Van Wert. Brothers and Sisters Gracie Alcalan (Pete) of Texas, Lupe Flores (Shirley) of Payne, Ola Larson (John) of Antwerp, Lucia Rivera (John) of Yoder Ind, Angel Flores (Sharon) of Antwerp, Susanna Coonrod (Leslie deceased) of Woodburn, Juaquina Sanchez (Stephan deceased) of Antwerp, Joe Flores (Della Mae) of Ft. Wayne, Tulip Santos (Lupe) of Antwerp and a host of nieces and nephews and longtime puppy companion ChiChi.
Also preceding her in death are her sisters Pauline McCurdy (Mac) Dallas and Margie Bowers (Jack) Antwerp.
A memorial of Jane’s life will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Antwerp at 3pm Sunday the 14th of February, with visitation one hour prior.
