Shortly after 1:30 a.m. on today’s date, Wilma Schwartz’s vehicle, a red Pontiac Sunfire, was located in Huntington County, Indiana. The vehicle was located in a parking lot of a business near US 224 & Route 3.
“I want to thank the media for pushing out this request last evening,” said Sheriff Jason K. Landers. “It took just 3 hours for a citizen who had seen the evening news to report to their local law enforcement. I appreciate the law enforcement in Markle, Indiana for securing the vehicle so investigators can see if there may be any clues inside,” said Sheriff Landers.
This investigation continues as leads continue to be followed.
