Another Death Investigation in Paulding County
Cecil, Ohio–Deputies were called to Rochester Cemetery near the intersection of US 127 and Road 424 in Crane Township to investigate a dead body in the grass.
At around 7:00 p.m. March 15th, a man was mushroom hunting along the south edge of the cemetery and located a deceased male covered in a blanket. The Paulding County Coroner along with Crime Scene Investigators believe the body has been there for several weeks. The body was taken to the Lucas County Morgue for an autopsy, and to assist with identification.
As soon as identification can be made another press release will be issued.
Assisting deputies at the scene were the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation CSI Unit and Paulding County Coroner Dr. Joseph Kuhn. The Paulding Fire Department also provided generator lights to investigators.
