The Paulding FFA Chapter and FFA Alumni members have been busy preparing for their annual plant event. From mixing soils, planting seeds, transplanting plant starts to labeling, cleaning and watering, the students have been learning in a hands-on environment. They have enhanced their knowledge of plant products and greenhouse operations, while having some fun too. Advisors and Alumni members have helped to organize and supervise the students to make sure everything is in tip-top shape for their Grand Opening on April 29. The greenhouse has over 80 varieties and types of plants to choose from and features several types of hanging baskets and gift planters. There are over 10,000 plants in all. The students always enjoy this annual project and are excited to show off their beautiful plants this year.
