On Wednesday, May 18, the last day of school, Antwerp Elementary School held its awards ceremony to recognize students for their academic, leadership, physical fitness, citizenship, and attendance accomplishments this school year.
First grader Michael Rohrs received a certificate for his perfect attendance this school year. Third graders Teeghun Marlin, Derek Hines, Allison Carnes, and Aiden Lichty received the American Citizenship Award for going above and beyond this school year to help their teachers and classmates. Fourth grader Nathan Dzib received the American Citizenship Award for going above and beyond this school year to help his teachers and classmates. First graders Cheyenne Maynard and Danica Lehman were all smiles after receiving their trophies for earning 50 Accelerated Reader points this school year. First graders Reid Nutter and Lincoln Lucas checked out the medals they received for earning at least 25 Accelerated Reader points this school year. Second graders Kendall Simonin and Dylan Hahn compared their Accelerated Reader medals.
