The Woodburn Branch Library had a Knit and Crochet Show June 21-24. The items that were on display were made by 14 different people who come to the Yarn Lovers group at the Woodburn Branch Library on Thursday evenings. There were afghans, baby blankets, hats, scarves, baby accessories, and many other kinds of items in the show. Believe it or not the art of knitting dates back to 11th century Egypt. We are so pleased that this handicraft has continued on through the years.
