PAULDING: Dale E. Conley age 79 died Sunday, July 10, 2016.
He was born September 28, 1936 in Van Wert to the late Walter and Lillian (Boroff) Conley. On October 28, 1956 he married Phyllis Rodman, who survives. He was a member of Payne Church of the Nazarene, where he served as a church greeter and was a former church board member. He retired in 1999 from Haver Furniture, Antwerp. He enjoyed camping, Horseback riding and motorcycles. His favorite pastime was spending time with his family and his two little buddies, Molly and Bella. He loved the Lord, his church and church family.
Dale is also survived by two children: Tracy (Carla) Conley, Paulding and Babette (Paul) Adams, Oakwood; 6 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and a sister, Donna Martz, Van Wert.
He is also preceded in death by his brothers, Clarence, Marion, and Walter Jr. and sisters, Betty Shobe and Patty McIntre.
Funeral services will be conducted 11 AM Friday, July 15 at Den Herder Funeral Home, Paulding, with Pastor Mike Harper officiating. Burial will follow in Taylor Cemetery, Van Wert.
Visitation will be 2 – 8 PM Thursday, July 14 at Den Herder Funeral Home, and from 10 AM until time of services on Friday.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations made to Payne Church of the Nazarene or Van Wert Inpatient Hospice.
