Bobby L. Egnor

Den-Herder-Funeral-Home-Paulding-Ohio-OHCORINTH, KENTUCKY: Former Paulding County and Bryan area resident, Bobby L. Egnor age 71 died Wednesday, August 10, 2016.

He was born June 23, 1945 in Harts Creek, West Virginia, the son of the late Johnie and Thelma (Stolling) Egnor. In 1968 he married Karen S. Scarbrough, who preceded him in death on July 27, 1978. On July 3, 1981 he married Janice Riley, who survives in Corinth. He retired from GM and was a lifetime member of VFW. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating, and especially loved his grandchildren and telling jokes.

He is also survived by his children: John (Amy) Egnor, Payne, Robbie (Candi) Egnor, Oakwood, Shannon (Donavon) Schaefer, Port Byron, Illinois, and Melissa (Bill) Kesler, Paulding; brothers: Charles Egnor, Roy (Diane) Egnor, George (Irene) Egnor, all of Paulding, and Don (Nancy) Egnor, Payne; sisters, Dorothy (Cecil) Vance, Berea, KY, and Joyce Cooper, Hamlin, West Virginia; brother-in-law, Danny Bustos, West Virginia; ten grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.

He is also preceded in death by brother, John Randall Egnor, and sisters, Cynthia Marie Bustos and infant sister Florence.

Funeral services will be conducted 11 AM Tuesday, August 16 at Den Herder Funeral Home, Paulding with Pastor Jeremy Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in Middle Creek Cemetery with military graveside rites accorded by VFW Post #587.

Visitation will be 4 – 8 PM Monday, August 15 at Den Herder Funeral Home, Paulding. There will also be visitation on Tuesday from 10 AM until time of services.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations made to Wounded Warriors Project.
