William Thatcher
iAB Financial Bank is pleased to announce the promotions of William H. Thatcher, III to Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer; John F. Blum to Senior Vice President, Business Banking Manager and Andrew W. Yergler to Senior Vice President, Retail Banking Manager.
Will Thatcher has been with iAB since April of 2015. He earned his Bachelors degree in Business Administration from Aquinas College with a focus in Accounting and Business. With a background of over William H. Thatcher, III 25 years in banking and management, he brings a depth of skilled experience to the iAB team to further forge and strengthen partnerships formed with customers and the community. Thatcher has volunteered with the Fort Wayne Ballet, Catholic Charities and the Boys and Girls Club of Fort Wayne. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family, golfing and reading.
John Blum
John Blum has been with iAB since September of 2015. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of Saint Francis (USF). His professional background of nearly 40 years in the financial industry includes experience in retail, credit and commercial banking. He serves as Board President of MSD of Southwest Allen County Schools and is an Alumni Representative on the Finance and Investment Commitee for USF. Additionally, he has been actively involved with Fort Wayne Public Television and the Education Committee of Greater Fort Wayne, Inc.
Andy Bergler
Andrew Yergler joined iAB in August 2015. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois and his Master of Business Administration from Indiana Tech. His professional background of over 15 years in banking includes experience in retail and agribusiness banking, mortgage loans and business development. He is a board member for Community Harvest Food Bank and has been actively involved with the YMCA and the United Way. In any spare time, he also enjoys watching and participating in sports and spending time with his family.
