New Haven competed against 20+ other schools in the band competition at Bluffton on Saturday, September 12. The day was off and on rainy but that didn’t dampen the Bulldogs spirit band. There are 34 musicians in the New Haven band, and they won the Visual Effects Award. The band picked up second place at the same time with 40.6 points. This is the highest award they have received this early in the season of competitions. Heritage came in 3rd place while Manchester came in 1st in the Scholastic B Division.
