On Wednesday, September 28 the Garrett Railroaders volleyball team came to the Woodlan court, competing against the Warriors in the last season home game. This special night was also an important event for the girls on the team as the underclass say goodbye to the seniors. They have worked hard for years and were finally recognized for their service and dedication to the team.
Senior recognition was between the JV and the varsity matches.
The home team was struck hard in the first game and nearly disabled psychologically after the first two sets of falling to Garrett. The ladies came back to win the next three sets: 17-25, 21-25, 25-13, 25-8, 15-11.
Warrior Leaders: Aces – Addison Bayman & Katie Hockemeyer 5; Assist – Addison Bayman 29; Blocks – Cortlyn Sowers 3; Digs – Cassidy Weidenhoft 39; Kills – Katie Hockemeyer 20.
