Jerry Price is a father of 4 daughters. He has been married to his wife Mary Tuohy Price for 41 years. Jerry worked at Defiance Precision Products in many roles, until he changed career paths and became an RN at both Twin Rivers Nursing Home in Defi ance and then at Paulding County Hospital until his diagnosis. Jerry was diagnosed with COPD and Emphysema and is now working with his team of doctors at Cleveland Clinic to get a double lung transplant. After surgery Jerry will need to live in Cleveland for a period of time for his medical care. Mary and the other caregivers will rotate in and out to make sure Jerry always has support with him. Travel and lodging are not covered by their medical insurance. Jerry will also have large expenses for the Anti-Rejection medicine that he will be on for the rest of his life.
