Paulding travelled to Antwerp for the second game of the season. The Lady Archers had previously defeated Edon the evening before.
Antwerp dominated the first half of the game while Paulding was on top the second but not enough to turn the deficit around from the first half.
The top scorer for Antwerp was Hope Smith and the top for the Lady Panthers was Bri Townley.

Antwerp Blows Away Edon
On November 28 the Lady Archers posted the Edon Bombers. This was the first game for the Lady Archers and the Bombers.
The first quarter Antwerp Archers decidedly took over the court with 14 points. You had Rachel Williamson who scored six points from under the basket. Karsyn Brumett also added a three pointer in her first game of her high school career. All together Antwerp lead the score 14 to 2 at the end of the first period.
In the second quarter the game was not so hot for the Lady Archers as they only added five points to the scoreboard. Peyton short, Maggie Wilson and Hope Smith all scored. The bombers were able to recover their flight in this second period by adding nine points back to the board. Halftime score finished at 19-11 with Antwerp in the lead but it was no longer a runaway game.
The second half started with Antwerp coming back on fire. Williamson nailed 2 – 3 pointers from the outside and Becca Johanns also added her first points. This period confirmed the victory for the home team after scoring 17.
The fourth period was also good for Antwerp when Kortney Smith, adding 6 points to the game. The final score of the game was 49 to 23 with Antwerp more than doubling the Bombers score.
