PAULDING, OH:
Earlene Laney age 68 died Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at the Gardens of Paulding.
She was born in Temple, Louisiana, on April 28, 1948 to the late Jack and Cecelia (Burns) Jowers. On March 11, 1966 she married James E. “June” Laney, who preceded her in death on January 16, 2015.
She is survived by her children: Carl Laney, Michael (Kathy) Laney, Ricky (Nicole) Laney, and Starla (Tim) Fabela; grandchildren: Daniel Hernandez, Holden (Danielle), Joshua, Kaydee, Austin, Ethan, Benjamin, Carlie Jo, Alex, Gabrielle, Allison, Courtnie, Brandon and Dylan Laney, Kyrsten (Gage) Tosspon, Mackenzie (Bobby) Rabinowitz and Connor Fabela; great grandchildren: Alexandria, Faith, Savannah, Briella, Gage, Luca, Rhett, Annabelle, Elaina and Bobby; sister, Clara Mae Williams; brother, Earl (Gwynn) Jowers.
She is also preceded in death by her infant children: Tony, Jack and Angela Laney; brothers, Rufus, Sherman, Elbert; and sisters, Vivian and Willo Dean.
Funeral services will be conducted 11 AM Friday, December 30 at Den Herder Funeral Home, Paulding. Burial will follow in Forest Home Cemetery, Hicksville.
Visitation will be 4 – 8 Thursday, December 29 at Den Herder Funeral Home. There will also be visitation one hour prior to services on Friday.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations made to Gardens of Paulding Activity Fund.
