The Wayne Trace varsity wrestling team competed in the Coldwater duals on Saturday January 14th the raiders competed against Delphos Jefferson, Jay County Indiana, Van Wert, Rushville, Indiana and Columbus Grove. At 106 Daniel Ruiz went 3 & 2, at 113 Tyler Bauer went 4 & 1, at 126 Austin Smith went 4 & 1, at 126 and 130 to Caleb Baughman went 2 & 0, at 132 Ruger Goeltzenleuchter went 5 & 0. Goeltzenleuchter earned his 700th career take down, and stands at 251 takedowns for the season. At 145 Wyatt Stabler went 2 & 3 . At 152 Hunter Showalter went 4 & 1, at 160 Kameron Bevis went 3 & 2 , and wrestling 285 Noah Reel went 4 & 1 for the day. The Raiders wrestled really well and we’re very competitive.
