The Woodburn Lions Club had a special guest speaker at their Valentine dinner program, current Lions District Governor Alan Arnold (on the right). He presented Don Jordan, last year’s club president, the Excellence Centennial Award which is based on last year’s club accomplishments. There were several requirement to be met to qualify for the award including a growth in membership. There are 55 clubs in our Lions District and the Woodburn Lions Club was one of twelve clubs to qualify for the award in the district which includes 6 counties in northeast Indiana with over 1,800 members.
New members are always welcome to join us in giving back to the community by participating in our various service projects. It is very rewarding to be a part of this club. The Woodburn Lions Club meets on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month.
