Conniff Sales Inc., Distributor of Country Clipper zero turn lawn mowers announced that a local company, Heckley Outdoor Power, placed 4th in the Midwest region for sales of the Country Clipper mowers. Country Clipper lawn mowers have been produced for over 30 years by Shivvers Manufacturing at its headquarters in Corydon, Iowa and shipped to distributors all across the United States and Canada.
Heckley Outdoor Power began carrying the Country Clipper line of mowers in the summer of 2004. The decision was a good move for co-owners Kevin & Tiffany Heckley. Since 2004, Heckley Outdoor has received numerous awards for outstanding sales and is a five-time Elite Dealer award winner, the highest award a Country Clipper Dealer can receive.
“When you’ve got a great product, one that you really believe in, the product sells itself.” said Kevin. He attributes much of the company’s success to customer referrals. “We are truly blessed to have fantastic customers who are very loyal. I think sales continue to increase each year because customers are happy with their mowers and they tell people they know.” He said. “It’s like when you find a great restaurant, you can’t wait to tell people about it.” added Tiffany.
The family owned company started as an auto repair shop in 1993 and expanded into the outdoor power industry in July 2004 when Kevin saw a need for it in the community. “We want to build life-long relationships with our customers. You can’t do that at a big box store.” Kevin said.
Country Clipper has some features that set it apart from the pack. Features like a flip-up deck and joystick steering that come standard on all models. The American made mowers are well built and set the bar high in the lawn equipment industry.
