Owen with Medicaid Director Barbara Sears
Wayne Trace Junior, Owen Brigner was able to spend a few days working at The Statehouse in Columbus, OH. Owen spent the day working in the Ohio Medicaid Office with Medicaid Director Barbara Sears and her staff. Owen shadowed Director Sears Legislative Liaison Brian Stout for the day, attending committees and preparing Director Sears for Testimony for the HHS Committee. He was able to attend the session to witness Director Sears being confirmed as the Director of Medicaid. Owen was also able to spend a morning working in Governor Kasich’s office with Bryan Conrad, GOFBCI Outreach Coordinator and meet other staff members from Gov Kasich’s office. Owen is the son of Tracy Brigner, and Wes Brigner Payne.
