The Cooper Community Branch of the Paulding County Carnegie Library system, located in Oakwood, Ohio, is sponsoring a Sewing Seminar on April 29th from 10:00-11:30 a.m. Have you always wanted to learn to sew? Have an unfinished project? Or just want to discuss sewing with people who love to sew?
Due to funding by the Ann Sherry Foundation, sewing machines have been purchased as part of the library system’s Maker and Creative Space grant. Ten machines and supplies are available for an easy sewing project. Beginners will be able to create a project to take home, while learning sewing basics. The beginner supplies for this session are free. Already know the basics? Intermediate sewers are invited to use our sewing machines to work on their own special projects.
This event is geared for ages 10 and older. Preregistration is encouraged. Machines are available on a first-come basis.
Call the library at 419-594-3337 to register or for more information.
