On April 1, 2017 the Wayne Trace FFA chapter held their annual awards banquet. Awards were given, CDE teams were recognized, and new officers were installed. Last year’s officers (2016-2017) were as follows: Clark Laukhuf (Sentinel) Ethan Crosby (Parliamentarian) Alec Anderson (Chaplin) Jake Kuhn (Secretary) Joe Schmidt (President) Alli Hefner (Treasurer) Kacey Reinhart (Vice President) Alisa Elliott (Historian) Haleigh Stoller (Reporter) Madison Chastain (Vice President) Racheal Ringler (Student Advisor) and Leah Maassel (Vice President)
On February 15, 2017 the Wayne Trace FFA chapter had a team compete in the Ag Sales contest. Contestants were Haleigh Stoller, Ethan Crosby, Alec Anderson, and Clark Laukhuf.
On March 25, 2017 the Wayne Trace FFA chapter had a team compete in the horse evaluation CDE. Contestants were Autumn Banks, Haleigh Stoller, Emma Pease, Alisa Elliott, and Trisha Strickler.
On March 15-16 Haleigh Stoller from Wayne Trace and Kaylin Strahley from Paulding participated in the Ohio Youth Capital Challenge. On May 12 they will be competing against other teams in hopes of moving on to the state level.
On March 11, 2017 Haleigh Stoller and Kacey Reinhart from Wayne Trace along with Hannah Farr from Paulding participated in the Ohio State Officer practice Interview. Hannah and Kacey will be interviewing for a spot on the Ohio State Officer team on April 8.
