The Operation Round Up Board awarded $12,333.00 to area agencies dedicated to making an impact on the lives of residents in this region. Operation Round Up is a program which allows members to have the option to round up their bills to the nearest dollar every month, with those extra few cents going to benefit people in need within the co-op’s service territory.
Paulding Putnam began doing Operation Round Up in July 2010. Currently, over 8700 of the co-op’s 12,900 members participate and to date local charities have received over $$328,044.13. The board is made up of PPEC members representing all of our districts and the board was pleased to announce the following organizations grants:
Lutheran Outdoor Ministries, Paulding County Emergency Management Agency, Paulding FFA, Hands of Hope Pregnancy Services, Putnam County Special Olympics, Challenged Champions Equestrian Center, American Cancer Society, United Way of Putnam and Paulding Counties, Antwerp Local School, Auglaize Twp. Fire Dept., Lions Club of Paulding County, St. John Emmanuel Lutheran School.
