PAULDING: Edward F. Cline, age 84 passed away Thursday, May 25, 2017 at his residence.
He was born in Paulding County, Ohio, on December 20, 1932 to the late E. Arnold and Marceil (Zartman) Cline. He was a 1950 Antwerp High School graduate and a US Army veteran. On May 29, 1953 he married Arlene LaRue, who survives. He retired from Johns-Manville as regional manager. He was a member of Paulding Presbyterian Church where he served as Sunday school teacher, a member of Session, and on the Finance, Building and Grounds, Nominating and Personnel Committees.
He is also survived by his children: Randy (Barb) Cline, Hicksville, Darwin (Darla) Cline, Paulding, and Janice (Bill) Bangle, Groveland, Florida; grandchildren: Timothy, Jordan, Alex, Kimberly, Alicia and Aimee; great grandchildren: Wyatt, Eliza, Adele, Lily and Landon; brothers: Richard (Mary Jane) Cline, Hicksville, James (Cathy) Cline, Antwerp, David H. (DoRetta) Cline, Antwerp, and Kenneth L. (Nancy) Cline, Hicksville.
Funeral services will be conducted 11 AM Wednesday, May 31 at Den Herder Funeral Home, Paulding. Ed will be laid to rest in Riverview Memory Gardens, Defiance.
Visitation will be 3 – 5 PM and 6 – 8 PM, Tuesday at Den Herder Funeral Home. There will also be visitation on Wednesday from 10 AM until time of services.
