Allie Knepp, a recent graduate of Woodlan high school and a member of the Woodlan FFA chapter is running for an Indiana State FFA officer position for 2017-2018. Allie will go through a series of interviews over a three day period just before the start of the Indiana State FFA Convention. Allie will present her knowledge about the history of the FFA, knowledge about current FFA and agriculture topics at the local, state and national level, and display her leadership and presentation abilities in order to be slated as an Indiana State FFA Officer. Twenty-one other FFA members from other chapters around the state are also competing for one of the 7 State FFA Officer positions selected to serve on the upcoming Indiana FFA State Officer team. The slated, selected State Officers will be announced on Wednesday, June 21. Allie has worked diligently the past four years to position herself for this once in a lifetime opportunity of serving the FFA members of Indiana as a State FFA Officer. Allie has competed and participated in numerous FFA events at the chapter, state and national Level and has accumulated numerous accolades.
Allie has served as a Chapter Officer, District Secretary and State Choir Vice-President. Allie is the daughter of Roland and Beth Knepp of Harlan, Indiana. Woodlan Jr.-Sr. High School along with the communities of Harlan, Woodburn and the East Allen County Schools wish for Allie’s dream to become a reality and to join the other 14 past State FFA Officers from Woodlan who have received this honor.
