The Hicksville Village Players are announcing auditions for their next show–”Twelve Angry Jurors” by Reginald Rose and adapted for the stage by Sherman L. Sergel. This show is based on the award-winning “Twelve Angry Men”, but being staged for a cast of both men and women. The show is being directed by Dawn Patterson and produced by Sean Patterson. The auditions will be held on Friday, June 30 at 6:30 pm and Saturday, July 1 at 1 pm in the Upper Room at the CCD House at St. Michael’s Catholic Church. The show has parts for 13 characters, either male or female and 2 off-stage voices. This show is a very moving courtroom drama set entirely in the Jury room during deliberation of the guilt or innocence of a young man who’s accused of killing his father. We would love to have EVERYONE interested in theater come to the auditions. Even if you don’t want to be onstage, I can always find a place for you! So, please, come to the auditions for this important and gripping play! You’ll see nothing else like this in Hicksville this year!! If you are unable to attend auditions on the dates or times listed, please contact Dawn Patterson at (260)440-6695.
