The Woodlan FFA Chapter recently attended the 88th Indiana State FFA Convention held on the campus of Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. The Woodlan FFA Chapter received several awards. Awards received were: a plaque and a check for placing 2nd in the “Living to Serve, Community Service” competition by providing 1,700 Kindergarten students agriculture experiences on a typical Indiana farm, also received a special award by placing in the “Top Ten” for contributions to the FFA foundation and State FFA Leadership Center. Kaylor Resor received a Hoosier Degree by meeting stringent requirements set for membership into this elite group of FFA members. All members pictured above were selected to serve on the Convention Courtesy Corp team in various capacities. Allie Knepp also participated as a State Officer Candidate throughout the convention. Ten Woodlan FFA members attended the four day Indiana FFA State Convention.
