Your favorite Dr. Seuss characters come to life onstage in Seussical, Jr., a fantastical musical extravaganza that will transport you to the Jungle of Nool, Whoville, McEligott’s Pool, and the Circus McGurkus. Through the imagination of the characters, the powers of friendship, loyalty, family, and community are challenged and emerge triumphant!
During this unforgettable musical caper, the Dr. Seuss characters that collide and cavort include: The Cat in the Hat (Katherine Berger), Horton (Josh Fine), Gertrude McFuzz (Bri Young), Mayzie La Bird (Trinity McFarland), Sour Kangaroo (Julianna Berger), the Mayor of Whoville (Calvin Lichty), his lovely wife (Taylor Bolton), and their son JoJo (Trey McFarland). They are complimented by sassy Bird Girls (Kate Farr, Jadis Getrost, Kennedy Salinas, Leah Thomas) and the mischievous Wickershams (Joda Freese, Alex Lehman, Cailynn Young, Ilse Zijlstra) along with some cameo appearances of other Seuss characters you will recognize. Julie Hall and Chris Feichter are directing an additional 48 cast members who comprise the choral groups and dancers that illuminate the stage for this magical production.
