GLOW (God’s Lights of Woodburn) Youth Center and Woodburn Veterinary Clinic will be hosting their 4th annual Glow 5k Run/Walk on September 16th, 2017. Money raised will be used to support all area youth (K-6th grade) in an after school program that promotes homework help, moral characteristic traits, and spiritual growth.
GLoW has met the last three years, with much success, at Woodlan Elementary twice a week after school. We were able to meet and serve 100+ kids in the Woodburn area through homework help, snack fellowship, large group activities, and small group activities. We were also able to have free family events utilizing the different businesses in Woodburn.
The GLoW Youth Center Glow 5K Run/Walk and Kids Run will be held on Saturday, September 16th at 5:00pm. Registration will begin from 3:00 – 4:30 p.m. at the Woodburn Shelter House and the Kids Run will kick off the event at 4:45 p.m.
