Every Wednesday in August is the New Haven Farmer’s Market from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Schnelker Park. Fresh home-grown produce, non-GMO meats, gluten free breads, excellent bakery pastries, honey, maple syrup, & variety of local artisans with their crafts.
Wednesday, August 16 – Senior Carry-In lunch at 11:30 at the Community Center. Meat & drinks provided by Parks & Recreation Department. Each senior is to bring a dish to share. After lunch Seniors can play euchre, bridge or bingo.

August 15 – Motor Coach trip to Meijer Gardens in Grand Rapids along with ride on Grand Lady Riverboat.

10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Pre-K Nature Discovery – nature based, hands-on preschool programs geared for 6 years & younger. Each student attends with adult. FREE
Every Sunday in August at Moser Park Nature Center
1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Kids can join the Squirrel Squad with programs geared toward ages 7 & above. Join naturalists each week for short hikes, activities, crafts & much more
2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. All ages can Plug into Nature & escape your daily routine to enjoy the outdoors. Explore woodlands & swamp habitats, pond life, & native plants
Wednesday, August 2 Canvas 4 All Footprint Canvas 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Step by step instructive painting class for kids but we encourage parents, grandparents to sign up with their child.
Saturday, August 5 Canvas 4 Kids Ages 5-7 Alien Canvas 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Step by step instructive painting class with kids being guided each step with freedom & encouragement to add their own flair.
