Pictured are participants in Paulding County Hospital’s first Delay the Disease program for Parkinson’s Disease. The twelve-week long program features the use of low level exercises to develop the mind and body to overcome limitations caused by the disease. Observers have stated that the progress made by participants is nothing short of miraculous enabling them to function at a much higher level.

The program is led by Joe Fisher, Licensed Physical Therapist, and Director of Paulding County Hospital’s Rehabilitation Department.  Other program instructors include Naomi Nicely, Certified Fitness Trainer; Angie Speice, Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant; and Kelli Schlatter, Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant.

The program will resume classes on Tuesday, August 29, 2017. Please contact the hospital for additional information regarding the program at 419-399-1725, 419-399-1162, or paulding.dtd@pauldingcountyhospital.com.
