During the first week of school, the eighth graders at Antwerp Middle School (AMS) held their annual “profit sharing” pizza party for the AMS Tomato Co-op. As seventh graders, these students planted tomato seeds and sold the plants as part of a class-designed company in Mr. Kurt Tempel’s science class. Once the expenses were deducted for the year, the profits were used for the party. Here, Mr. Tempel, Mr. Jason Hale, and Mr. Jon Short help students get their pizza in the courtyard.
