R. Paul Bidlack, 92 of Grover Hill, Ohio died Thursday, September 14 at Vancrest of Van Wert. Paul was born on October 9, 1924 in Grover Hill.
His Parents were Edna (McClure) Bidlack and Aaron Ray Bidlack, both deceased.
He was married on October 2, 1943 to Shirley A. Thrasher who preceded him in death on March 6 of this year.
Paul and Shirley’s children include: Connie (Tom) Baldwin- New Haven, Indiana; Paulette (Richard) Stemen- Payne, Ohio; Patricia Bidlack- Convoy, Ohio; Rudy (Ellen) Bidlack- Scott, Ohio; Dennis Bidlack and Jeff Bidlack are deceased;
DAUGHTER IN LAWS: Cheryl Bidlack- Van Wert, Ohio; Jenni Bidlack- Van Wert, Ohio
Paul had four brothers: Clarence, James, John, and Marion Bidlack, all of whom are deceased. He also has sisters: Emma Ruth Crone Rosengarten- Leipsic, Ohio; Edna Mae (Dale) Spitnale- Oakwood, Ohio; Dorothy Thompson, Vera Apfel, Irene Blythe, & Mary Hoverman are deceased.
Grandchildren include Angie Wyss, Shari Hegerfeld, Christie Wright, Broc Bidlack, Brian Bidlack, Kent Stemen, Cameron Bidlack, Lynn Bidlack, Ryan Bidlack, Dustin Bidlack & Heather Grant; Great Grandchildren: 28 Great, Great, Grand: 7.
Paul worked at BF Goodrich in Woodburn, IN where he retired. He was also a lifetime farmer. He also attended church at the Mandale Church of Christ. He was a Former member of Roselm Grange, Grover Hill Lions Club, Grover Hill Community Club, Grover Hill & Paulding School Boards of Education; He enjoyed teaching Sunday School for many years.
Visitation was 2-8 p.m. Monday September 18, 2017 at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory. Also, one hour prior to services Tuesday at the church.
Services were at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at Mandale Church of Christ, Mandale, Ohio with burial following at the Middle Creek Cemetery in Grover Hill, OH. Preferred memorials to Mandale Church of Christ or Grover Hill E.M.S.
