Celebrate open house at 4–H camp
10th Annual Celebrate 4-H Camp Palmer Day-Free event! Camp Open House
Sunday, October 1 – 11 :00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
The general public is invited to a day of celebration and fun geared to the whole family family and for all ages. The event will take place at 4-H Camp Palmer in Fulton County-26450 County Rd. MN, Fayette Ohio 43521. 4-H Camp Palmer is owned and operated by 11 counties in northwest Ohio and also is an outreach of Ohio State University Extension.
Please join us for a fun day! Activities may include: carnival games with pumpkin painting, wagon rides, camp store, zip line, rifle, nature center, climbing tower, archery, gaga ball, canoeing, and flying squirrel.
Free will offering picnic lunch will be provided on a first come, first serve basis served from 12 noon – 2:30 p.m. Also there will be craft and specialty vendors in Woodland lodge. (more information on www.camppalmer.org)
October 8 – 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. 4-H Camp Palmer Shoot-open to public youth ages 9-18 years old.
4-H Camp Palmer is very appreciative for a generous ODNR Grant, Division of Wildlife for Scholastic Steel targets, rifles, pistols and additional equipment to improve our programs! Registrations are taking place for Shotgun or Scholastic Steel division for this event on first come, first serve basis-contact Chuck Wurth-419-237-2247 or wurth.6@osu.edu
Recently, Sauder Stewardship Foundation made a $6000 grant to rebuild the boys showers at the Sauder Recreation Hall. 4-H Camp Palmer board and staff are very thankful for this donation and others that have also reduced our pool loan to $43,000.
