On Sunday, October 15, 2017, Antwerp Local School held its National Honor Society (NHS) and National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) induction ceremony. The National Honor Society recognizes outstanding high school students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, service, leadership, and character. The NJHS is the middle school equivalent of NHS.
Six yearbook and broadcast students were also inducted into Quill and Scroll, an international honor society for high school journalists.
