Paulding, Ohio—Early this morning, agents with the Multi Area Narcotics Taskforce (MAN Unit) and deputies with the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant for suspected Methamphetamine at 758 North Walnut Street, Paulding.
During the execution of the warrant, 7 adults and a 3-year old child were located in the residence and detached garage. Suspected crystal Methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and US currency were seized during the search.
Arrested and pre
liminarily charged with Trafficking in Methamphetamine, which is a Felony of the Third Degree due to being in the presence of a child, are:
Scott R. Haney— age 35, Paulding, Ohio;
William R. Winkler— age 45, Paulding, Ohio; and,
Minnie C. Cain— age 27, Kunkle, Ohio.
Arrested and preliminarily charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, which is a Felony of the Fifth Degree are:
Thaddeus W. Lang, age 27, Grover Hill, Ohio; and,
Jacob A. Schaffer, age 21, Paulding, Ohio.
Two adult females located at the residence were not arrested. The child was turned over to Job & Family Services and placed with family. This investigation continues and additional charges are expected.
The MAN Unit is comprised of agents from Williams, Fulton, Defiance, Henry, Paulding and Putnam County Sheriffs’ Offices, as well as Bryan, Archbold, Defiance and Napoleon Police Departments.
