Time has flown by and what used to be the Woodburn Elementary school is now an Independent Senior Living Facility. Woodburn has been looking to give new life to the depreciated structure, and they successfully did just that when the school was remodeled and turned into Phoenix Manor Assisted Living Facility.
Phoenix Manner offers affordable housing to residents 55 and older in this 48,000+ square foot facility. Renee Moore, Property Manager, has said she would love to set up a tour and let people see what is offered to give them the best possible experience in their transition to a life style that fits where they are in life.
Each unit includes 1 or 2 bedrooms, kitchenette with microwave, oven, refrigerator, and even a dishwasher! The building itself is secured so a person doesn’t have to worry about it! Older people are now more computer literate than ever and because of this, there will be a computer lab with internet for residents to keep up with the latest on the web. A fitness center is also set up for residents and will be open to the community for only a small fee each year. There is a clothing bank for the locality of people right on site for the benefit of everyone.
