Students at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church held their first ever Lock-in and made twelve blankets for Christmas for Kids and filled thirty five Goody Bags for Antwerp Vancrest residents. The event was organized by Jayme Landers, April Krouse, and Courtenay McMichael as part of Mt. Calvary’s Youth Education and Community Outreach programs.
Funding for this event was made possible by Thrivent Financial through their Action Team Program. The Action Team Program emphasizes that community impact starts with an idea powered by a passion and that positive change begins with the generosity of those involved. Mt. Calvary’s Youth and Team Leaders are appreciative of Thrivent’s sponsorship in this community outreach project.
