The evening will begin at 4:00 p.m.. with the Peter Franklin Jewelers Open House. Come inside to see beautiful sparkling Christmas gifts. As you shop enjoy appetizers and beverages.
At 5:15 p.m. the Hoopers will be dancing to Holiday music in Canal Park.
Then at 5:30 Santa will arrive by Fire Truck to light the city Christmas Tree located at Canal Park. From there he will travel to the Historic Train Depot.
5:45 to 7:30 -Two horse drawn wagons are available to transport you from Canal Park to the Historic Train Depot where Santa is waiting to hear your Christmas wishes.
There will be model train displays in the Chamber Offices which will include a model of the 765 Steam Engine.
Make sure to stop in Ruhl’s Furniture and Flooring to sign up for a bicycle give away.
Rules for Drawing: Registration 5:30 to 7:30, for children up to 13 years old, and both parent and child must be present to win.
Power House will be giving out hot chocolate and cookies and supervising free art activities.
Also, you can enjoy all of these Christmas delights while listening to Holiday music provided by DJ Dan Surface.
At 7:45 p.m. Santa will arrive at Ruhl’s in order to choose the winners of the bicycle. Then Santa must hurry on his way to the North Pole to continue working on Christmas toys.
The evening will end at 9:00 p.m. at the close of Peter Franklin’s open house.
