On January 23rd, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Antwerp Library, Pastor Dwayne Richardson from House of Love Ministries will be doing a book signing on his book: Now Listen To This.
About the book:
Now Listen To This, Building the House of Love is an amazing, true story of how God used an unprepared, but not unwilling, African American man to build a ministry from scratch and to become the first Black pastor of a predominately White and Hispanic congregation in Paulding, Ohio. This story gives testimony to the many miracles and healings that were witnessed during the renovation.
Fears in life gripped him since he was a young boy growing up in Chicago. Author and Pastor Predest Dwayne Richardson recalls that fear always prevented him from enjoying life: from being bullied at school to being afraid to excel in career. However, in his new autobiography, Building the House of Love, Pastor Richardson mentions that being called into ministry by God encouraged him to face his fears and that he was in need of God’s love. At that time, his life had great highs, such as a successful army career, to great lows, with addiction struggles, failed relationships and being homeless. Then he started witnessing miracles from God and felt led by the Heavenly Father to consider rebuilding a church community also in need of God. Building the House of Love is one man’s story of overcoming crippling fears of life to uphold his calling from God to lead.
