The Brown Bettys & Buster Brown 4-H Club held a meeting on Monday, December 11th at the Oakwood Library. The meeting was called to order by president, Sam Woods. Pledges were led by Avery Cooper, Bryanna Winke, Gavin Parrett, & Mason Weible. Roll call was answered by all present members announcing their favorite winter sport.
The treasurer’s report was given by Madison Parrett and approved. The secretary’s report was given by Emma Horstman and approved. The health report, about dressing appropriately for winter, was given by Brooke Kilgore. Emma Elkins, the safety leader, gave a talk about winter road conditions.
Demonstrations were given by Jack Woods, Abby Bail, Trenton Bail, Matthew Bail, Abby Elkins, and Logan Winke.
A recreation activity of decorating a Christmas tree, was led by Emma Elkins.
The date of the next meeting will be Wednesday, January 3rd, at the Oakwood Library. The meeting was adjourned.
