Antwerp JV traveled to Edon to play in the Route 49 Classic Tournament against Hicksville on Thursday, December 28, where the Archers defeated the Aces 41-28. Scoring for the Archers were Jacob Savina with 16, Austin Lichty with 9, Jake Eaken with 7, Ashton Barnhouse with 4, Austin Chirgwin with 3 and Dylan Hines with 2. The JV Archer team returned on Friday to play in the championship game against Edgerton where they Archers defeated the Bulldogs 40-30 to bring home the hardware back to back years. Scoring for the Archers were Austin Lichty with 18 points, Jake Eaken with 8 points, Jacob Savina and Brett Fulk with six points each and Ashton Barnhouse and Jordan Buerkle with 1 point each.
Making the All Tournament Team for the Archer team were junior Brett Fulk, sophomore Jacob Savina and freshman Austin Lichty.
JV moves to 5-1 on the season.
