PAULDING – The Paulding girls basketball teams picked up a pair of wins last week as the Lady Panthers defeated both Delphos Jefferson and Lima Perry.
In Northwest Conference action, Paulding rallied from a bad start to post a 53-51 win over the Lady Wildcats.
Delphos Jefferson jumped in front 9-0 in the contest before settling on a 21-12 advantage after one quarter.
However, it was all Panthers from that point on.
Paulding outscored the Wildcats 18-7 in the second quarter to take a 30-28 halftime advantage and went on to post a 43-38 lead at the end of three periods.
Bri Townley and Cassidy Posey scored 18 and 16 points, respectively, for the maroon and white while Sydney McCullough chipped in 11 markers. Kaylen Hale (four), Asia Arellano (two) and Jaylynn Parrett (two) completed the Paulding scorers.
Delphos Jefferson was paced by Devyn Carder with 15 points while Sarah Miller chipped in eight markers.
Paulding put five girls in double figures on Saturday as the Panthers rolled past Lima Perry 80-23.
Kaylen Hale topped the maroon and white with 14 points while Cassidy Posey chipped in 13 and Jaylynn Parrett had 11. Brianna Townley and Audrey Manz each reached double figures with ten points.
Also scoring for the Panthers were Leigha Egnor 9, Ashlynn Rice 5, Asia Arellano 4 and Sydney McCullough 4. Hale posted 8 rebounds for Paulding with McCullough recording 6 assists and 5 steals.
