Members and friends of Mt Calvary Lutheran Church in Antwerp participated in a Family Lenten Project on an icy February 11 Sunday morning. A Lenten display featuring a cross and symbols of Christ’s crucifixion and resurrection was fashioned by each family for use at home and sharing with others. A Song for Lent was learned and fellowship enjoyed by 65 people.
Mt. Calvary will observe Ash Wednesday with its dual parish partner at Zion Lutheran Church/Bull Rapids at 7:00 p.m. The sermon series for each Wednesday evening of Lent is entitled “ The Hills of Lent”. Rev. Dr. Paul Dancy will deliver the message with the assistance of dramatic readers. Everyone is welcome.
