Friday, January 26th, was Harlan Christian School’s Senior Night against the Angola Warriors. Our seniors, Austin Louden and Kyle Graber were recognized for their contributions to the team.
Here are a few facts about our seniors:
Austin Louden has been playing for the Hawks since his sixth grade. His favorite color is blue, and his favorite food is crab legs.
Kyle started off playing basketball when he came to Harlan Christian in seventh grade. Kyle’s favorite color is red, and his favorite food is lobster. Kyle also became the highest scorer in Harlan Hawk history as of December 8, 2017.
Here are the stats from the game:
Austin Louden 6 points, 3 rebounds, and 4 assists
Kyle Graber 45 points, 11 rebounds, 11 assists, 8 steals and 2 blocks. This gave Kyle a triple-double for the evening.
Craig Petermen 4 rebounds and 2 assists
David Malcolm 5 rebounds and 9 points
Austin Petermen 13 points, 4 assists, 2 steals, and 2 blocked shots
The Harlan Hawks won with a score of 81-67. The team played great, but the fans especially loved the two dunks Kyle Graber had for the evening. Congrats seniors!
